About myself

Hello classmates!!

I'm Luana. I'm from Rio. I was born here, although some of my relatives are from São Paulo. However, SP tend to be a city that I travel some time. I'm very passionate for english. Kind of crazy rs.Besides, I like to learn other langauges.  English is one of my skills, including a basic Spanish as well. I intend to  become a english teacher in order to teach students that amazing language that surround us everyday.  I study English  and literature at UERJ since 2013.

Some friends say that I am committed, generous, patient, nice, dedicated and sometimes a little disorganized.

One of my important future plans are graduating from College, travel around the world and Brazil, get a job and a new house. I've always dreamed of spenting a time in USA and I expect very soon to get there. It's a true dream!

So, some tips for studying very hard is dedicatitng a time to study and practice all the skills in english  in order to improve constantly. I addition to this, It's important to be confident,don't take yourself so seriously,recognize their mistakes, learn from them, and search sources on internet (tips, vídeos, texts, online dictionary, etc..)  to improve yourself.

Hello my friends!!

I will talk a little bit about myself.

I am Gislaine, I was born in Rio de Janeiro but my parents are from northeast.
My friends say that I am very friendly, disorganized and down-to-earth. I agree with that, I know I am very friendly, I love help my friends with problems and other issues. As I have many things to do in a day, I think I am disorganized with my time..whatever!

About my future plans, I want to be a translator, but I like a lot the tourism area and I intend to make a tourism course in the future. Right now I want to graduate in English Literature at UERJ and I would like to make an specific translation course.

In my free time, I like to go to the beach, I like to read a good book, watch movies and go to parties with my friends.

My major is Journalism. I used to dream with making such important articles that I would change people's life, but eventually it didn' t happen. So, I changed my mind and decided to study English Literature.

I used to be based in Brasilia, but nowadays I live in Rio de Janeiro. Both of the cities are located in  Brazil and each one has your own caractheristics.

I've decided to change my major because, in fact, I've felt very disappointed with the way Journalism functions in real life. Journalists must follow the editor's ideology and we are not free at all to express our truth opinion about the subjects we are dealing with.

I am also graduated in Tourism and I have some knowledge  in strategic planning for touristic areas.

I am not fond of extreme adventures. In my free time I always go out of home , to watching movies or plays with friends. Afterwards, we go to eating out in order to comment this.
I also experience activities oudoor, as know some interesting and historical spots in the city.

My first post! English V.

Hi everybody!!!

Today I will tell you a little more about me :)

During my free time I help my mother with the housework and I also do my homework. I have to study a lot for university so I am always trying to improve it my skills. When it is possible, I spend some time online. I also like to hang out with my cousins and go out with them.

My worst habit is that I can not concetrate and this is horrible! I spend a lot of time trying to focus in what I need to do... I am always distracted.

My frinds say that I am crazy! That I speak too much and that I am really funny!

My future plans are to be successful in my job! I am worried about work with something that does not makes me feel happy. I intend to work a lot and also do an exchange.

I forgot to say that I am from Rio, but my father's family are from Bahia. They want me to leave my city and go away to Salvador, because they want me to stay near them.

Hello, guys!

 I am here to tell you a little bit about me.

I am Ana Beatriz. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

My friends say that I’m very disorganized and a bit lazy. And that I’m honest and

generous to people.

I’m always wanted be a teacher. Right now I’m studying English Literature at UERJ and after I graduate, I intending be English teacher, work in schools teaching children and teenagers.

I like to watch movies and TV series on Netflix, but my real passion is reading, so, I’m spent most part of my free time reading novels.

I’m addicted to Mexican soap opera! Yeas! It’s true. I lost count of how many times I watched “Maria do Bairro”, “Rubi” and “Mari Mar”. 

           Hello, dear classmates!
         
           My name is Taisa and in this my first presentation, I want to tell you  some important facts in my life:

           I´m from Belo Horizonte but I was raised in Rio de Janeiro.

          I'm a Mathematics teacher and I work in four high schools.

         When I was a teenager I played volleball and I was almost selected to play with the National Team. Oh! I played volleyball until today because I love it.

          I want to learn to expess myself very well in English because I want to live in Canada for a long time and during this period I would teach Portuguese to Canadians.

        Finally, I want to warn you that I am workaholic and then I never have free time! But at least I'm always feeling myself that I need to stop working so hard.
